Welcome to Kestrel

Two decades of mountain craftsmanship

Kestrel Homes (Kestrel Corporation) is a custom vacation-home builder and full-phase general contractor in Glacier, Washington, serving the Mt. Baker area, Whatcom County and the San Juan Islands — handling all phases of construction since 2000 and building custom vacation homes here since 2002.

We started building vacation homes in Glacier in 2002, and have since built nearly twenty custom homes, spec homes and vacation rentals — most of them right here in the heart of the Mt. Baker Recreation Area.

Whether it's an income-producing vacation rental or a private weekend retreat to hit the slopes and escape city life, we've been making dreams come true for over two decades — and we keep every phase under one roof so the people who design your home are the people who build it.

The in-house advantage

One crew. One point of contact. Start to finish.

What sets Kestrel apart: every phase — concept, design, permitting, lot clearing and construction — is handled by our own crews of 10-to-30-year tradespeople, giving you one point of contact, faster timelines, and no subcontractor markup.

One point of contact

The same person guides your project from the first concept through the day you move in.

Seasoned tradespeople

Every member of our crew brings ten to thirty years of experience in their trade.

Faster timelines

We don't juggle dozens of subcontractors' schedules, so projects move and finish sooner.

Honest cost

We self-perform the trades, so you're not paying a markup on a chain of subcontractors — just low overhead and direct labor.
